Amazing News!!

I would like to start off with the incredible news…I got accepted into Nursing School here in Canada. I had applied to 8 schools and finally got a acceptance letter from one! I had applied to two schools back home (Alberta) and the competitive average was 93.5% which is NUTS. I applied with a 90% and got wait listed. But finally! I have been for sure accepted at one institution in Canada. I was doing courses towards a Bachelor of Science before and decided to make the switch as I have always admired careers in the health sector and helping people seems like a really selfless and rewarding career.

Also, I wanted to let everyone know that my time here on Vancouver Island has been good! There have been a few moments where I really miss home and my family but I am staying with a family that takes care of me. So far, have been to Elk Falls and some unknown waterfall out by Sayward on North Vancouver Island. I will do my best to keep up with the blog and website updates. However, I will be quite busy with work, play, and possible a course prior to entry into Nursing.

Goodbye Kelowna

Well…As I write this blog post, it brings out many emotions and memories. I have been in Kelowna for two full years and honestly have enjoyed every moment. I kind of wish that I had gotten my camera sooner though! Oh well! I hope that all of you have enjoyed my photos so far here and I will continue to bring you on my adventures through photography. As of April 1st, I will no longer be in Kelowna and starting a new chapter in my life!

I am so excited to embark on this new moment in my life and I already know I will have some incredible opportunities so shoot wildlife, waterfalls, the ocean, and much more! I am heading further west of BC and will hopefully capture the beauty of the rain forest and maybe even pods of whales if I am lucky!
